This policy explains how the NOOVIVE public website, cloud accounts, Wiki contributions, and SHERPIENT local workspace adopt different data boundaries. We follow the principles of necessity, transparency, and user control, and do not use private project materials for public knowledge or model training by default.
IMPORTANT
Public Website and Account Services:Login identifiers, profiles, subscriptions, proposal edits, issue records, and collaboration contacts will enter the cloud service only as necessary to perform the corresponding functions and will be subject to permission and audit controls.
SHERPIENT Local Workspace:Enterprise materials, project context, decision records, and review results remain by default in the local or private deployment environment selected by the user, and are not automatically returned to the public knowledge base through use of Wiki or benchmarking functions. Only after the user actively selects and confirms permissions and anonymization scope may specific content enter public contribution or anonymous benchmarking processes.
DATA
Email, mobile number, or WeChat account identifier, display name, and institution, position, industry, and professional field voluntarily filled in by users. We do not recommend that users include sensitive information such as ID numbers in public profiles.
Focus, edit suggestions, modification reasons, sources, discussions, issue submissions, replies, processing status, and version and contributor identifiers to ensure traceability of entries.
When users apply for expert or company representative verification, they may need to submit institution, employment relationship, professional experience, or supporting materials. The specific materials, retention period, and display scope will be explained separately in the verification process.
To ensure security and improve products, the website and account services may record IP addresses, browser and device types, access times, request results, error logs, feature usage, and security events.
PURPOSE
PUBLIC CONTRIBUTIONS
To ensure public knowledge is traceable, published edits, revision summaries, discussions, and version records may be displayed together with the user's public display name or contributor number. Please do not submit personal privacy, undisclosed enterprise information, customer data, or materials you are not authorized to disclose in public contributions.
Deleting an account does not necessarily mean that contributions entered the public version history will be entirely removed; public identifiers, open licenses, and special privacy requests are handled according to the rules in effect at the time of submission.
AI & SERVICE PROVIDERS
AI search processes user queries and public materials search. SHERPIENT processes explicitly imported work content in the local or private environment selected by the user; whether cloud models, synchronization, or external services are enabled is clearly stated by product settings and deployment methods and controlled by the user.
We may use cloud computing, identity verification, email and SMS, models, payment, monitoring, or content security services. Relevant functions will be explained as necessary based on actual vendors and deployment locations, with scope handled through contracts, permissions, and minimization-principle Constraints.
Actual processing is based on product settings, deployment methods, page descriptions, and policies in effect at the time of user interaction.
STORAGE & SECURITY
We determine the retention period based on the purpose of the service, maintenance of public version history, security audits, and applicable requirements; unnecessary information will be deleted, anonymized, or legally retained.
The data storage location and potential cross-border processing depend on the adopted services, deployment methods, and user regions. Special notifications or consents for specific processing will be provided accordingly.
The service employs access controls, transmission protection, key management, logging, and backup measures commensurate with risk. System security requires continuous maintenance; if you discover account or data risks, please report them through the contact page.
YOUR CHOICES
Within the scope of applicable law, users may request access to, correction of, copying of, or deletion of personal information, withdraw withdrawable authorization, cancel accounts, or provide explanations and objections to specific processing. Some requests may require identity verification and may be subject to reasonable Constraints from public version records, security, or legal obligations.
OTHER
Sources, media, and collaboration pages may link to third-party websites. How third parties handle information is determined by their own rules; please check relevant details when accessing.
When there are significant changes in product or data processing, we will update the date and inform through page prompts or appropriate channels; major changes will not be silently handled with vague text.
